IT WAS WONDERFUL -- everything we had hoped for -- and more :-). We will most certainly become return visitors to Saba and we'll send our friends planning trips to the region to you.

Flossie's Cottage is a treasure -- seeing the Floral Cottage framed in the window on a foggy morning while having coffee was like living in a story book :-). The collection of old black and white photos Johanna has on the walls helps emphasize the unique history of the island. I have some great photos of the cottage, if you'd like some for your collection :-). Overall, we were thrilled with Juliana's management, hospitality and the accommodations. A+

Lynn at Sea Saba sets the Gold Standard for arrangements and service! Every diver we spoke with confirmed how well they were treated and how pleased they were with her and with the overall quality of the operation. The dive boats and creature comforts on the boats weren't specially noteworthy, but many of the dive sites were unlike anything we've ever seen. We'd never confuse Saba with anywhere else :-).The dive crews were friendly, efficient. eager to help and skilled. We were always given the option of following along with the dive leader or doing buddy dives -- when the conditions permitted. We liked he emphasis on slow ascents after the deep dives. They've mastered the art of keeping an eye on the brood without getting in the way of individual discovery :-). We'd wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sea Saba to our family and friends, nor would we hesitate to use them again. A+

Given the size of the island, we were amazed that we had so many nice options for meals. We had lovely dinners at Tropics, Y2K, Brigadoon, Swinging Doors and an absolutely amazing dinner at the Eco-Lodge. Lynn gave us "perfect knowledge" about how to get the best out of the dining options.

Quite honestly, our dinner at the Eco-Lodge reminded us of some of the best meals we've enjoyed in Napa. More specifically, it reminded me (Al) of Chez Panisse in Berkeley -- but at half the price! We might return to Saba just to enjoy another magical evening at this amazing restaurant. A rain shower during the entree followed by a serenade by the tree frogs helped set the stage for an enchanting experience. A+

I wanted to thank you both again for the incredible hospitality we were shown during our visit to Saba. It would have been enough to enjoy our days surrounded by the indescribable beauty of Saba, but both of you went out of your way to assure that our week was perfectly spectacular, and it truly was. You will, no doubt, be very successful in your future endeavors if you continue to show your guests the quality and level of service you afforded us during our stay. It was probably one of the most relaxing, enjoyable vacations we have ever had; it was a truly remarkable experience. I would highly recommend Juliana's to anyone without hesitation.

I believe that Saba, and Juliana's, won the hearts of everyone in the group.
Thank you again for your hospitality and I hope to see you again one day. Take Care!

We had a wonderful time; excellent service at Juliana’s and Sea Saba. The diving was wonderful, the hiking great! Visiting and dining at the Ecolodge and hiking with Tom were the highlights of our “land-based” vacation.

The friendliness of everyone on the island is great! The people you meet call you by your first name and remember it throughout the stay, it’s a very comfortable feeling. The safety of the island is incredible, it nice to know you can leave windows and doors open and not worry.

Saba is like a storybook! It’s like a fairy tale come true! The island, the people, the diving and resort are treasures. Sea Saba and Juliana’s help make this one of the best places in the world that I’ve been.

All at Julianas are a credit (cleaning ladies meticulous). All taxi drivers courteous and knowledgeable, restaurants visited were of fine standard. Sea Saba service was beyond accommodating. Thank you, Wim, Johanna and Vanessa for making our stay just sublime.

Wim, Johanna and Vanessa are truly the most gracious, helpful, friendly hosts/hostesses we’ve ever had!

Saba is an undiscovered gem. It was so much more that I ever could have expected. The diving was incredible but it is so much more that a dive spot; the towns are beautiful and quaint. The hiking and rainforests were breathtaking and the food was excellent everywhere we went.

We wanted to again tell you how much we enjoyed spending time on your island and also let you know how much we really appreciated your service and assistance during our stay. Charles and I also wanted to thank you for the wonderful hospitality you shared during our stay at your wonderful inn. We knew we would return after our honeymoon, but did not plan for it to be six years later!
We very rarely find a destination that we make repeat visits to, but we enjoyed Saba so much we had to come back. We are definitely going to plan another trip there, but we will not wait as long.
Usually travel to Saba at least once per year. I always stay at Juliana's! The facilities are always clean, well maintained and there are no unexpected surprises!
The staff and management are quick to assist you with anything from retrieving lost luggage to making a dinner reservation and always do so with a smile and a positive attitude! They are always consistent!
Juliana's is centrally located in Windwardside, close to shopping, grocery and restaurants! The rates are reasonable, too! Try it, you'll love it and you will be back!

Juliana's was a great experience. We highly recommend their Orchid Cottage - beautiful views, comfortable, and private. The owners and staff of Juliana's are delightful people and very accommodating. Everything is well maintained.
Juliana's is centrally located in Windwardside, an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Saba is a delightful island, one of the few in the Caribbean on which we could imagine living. There are wonderful people there, and it is safe, clean, and offers great diving.
Saba and Juliana's are most definitely on our list for a return trip, the sooner the better!

The location is perfect, the staff is the friendliest, and the view is unbeatable. Caroline, at Tropics Café, does a fantastic job with the included breakfasts, and the location is central to the other restaurants, dive shops and market. You can’t beat it for value and convenience. Thank you guys for making my stay every year the best!

Saba may not be the ideal vacation destination for everyone. Those of us who have already found it not-so-secretly, hope that it will stay delightfully off the beaten track for tourists who require beach, casinos, glitz and high-end amenities.
For divers, nature lovers and hikers or folks who want an ideal spot in which to give full attention to a stack of books that have been saved for such an occasion, there can be no better place.
Juliana’s Hotel, with a choice of well-appointed, very comfortable rooms, suites and detached cottages, all with spectacular views and full amenities, approximates the ideal. Being very mountainous, everything on Saba is either up or down. But Juliana’s, centrally located right in the middle of Windwardside, about 1200 feet above sea level, provides ready access to shops, banks, a small supermarket, a post office and a variety of restaurants. These, Like Saba itself, are not pretentious but provide comfort and satisfaction and local color.
With its own swimming pool and the on-site Tropics restaurant - ideal for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon beverage and snack - Juliana’s provides an ideal base of operations for relaxation and for experiencing this relaxed and friendly but industrious and wholly unique community.
My wife and I have returned to Saba every year since we were married, 13 years ago. Our annual return to Saba – like a homecoming, really - is eagerly anticipated each year and the thought of nightly falling asleep to the wonderful music of invisible tree frogs or the sound of the occasional nocturnal downpour gets us through the winter season and the complexities of our professional lives.
We greatly appreciate the friendly, reliable, efficient and helpful, but non-intrusive attention that we get from the management of Juliana’s and the ease of making arrangements by e-mail. Only our affection for Juliana’s and its management would induce us to divulge the secret of Juliana’s and Saba. We will trust to the small landing strip, the lack of a natural harbor and the lack of typical tourist attractions to protect what we most value about this wonderful place.
